In our Wimbledon & Raynes Park clinic, we use the Elite laser for hair removal. This state of the art laser system is suitable for all skin types and is used to treat not only hair, but also a range of skin issues such as veins and pigmented lesions on the skin. Using the Elite laser, actively growing hair follicles will be permanently destroyed, giving permanent hair reduction, something which is not always the case with some laser hair removal systems.

Microneedling is the use of tiny needles to penetrate through the skin to induce a wound healing reaction. This results in hundreds of microchannels created in the skin which increases the delivery of the specialist product and stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin fibres.
Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may treat various scars, wrinkles, and large pores, but also could be used on the neck, décolleté, and scalp. Increased production of natural fibres within the skin means the treatment works very well at treating scars such as post acne scarring, stretch marks as well as fine lines and wrinkles, and smoother, firmer, more toned skin.
Chemical peels involve applying an acid-based formula to the skin to keep it soft, smooth, and supple. Chemical peels can be used on most areas of the body, but the most common use is to improve the appearance of the skin on the face or on the backs of the hands.

Lasers work by emitting a very strong light of a single wavelength that is carefully matched to the absorption characteristics of the target tissue, whether this target be thread vein, hair or tattoo pigment. The intense pulsed light is absorbed by the target and converted into heat, thereby destroying the target. Because this destructive process is over in a fraction of a second, there is little time for the heat to affect other tissue nearby, and because of this the risk of scarring is minimised.
Laser acne treatments can be used to help reduce and remove acne scarring. Whether boxcar acne, ice pick acne or rolling acne scarring, acne scar laser treatment can be used in combination with other aesthetic treatments to reduce acne inflammation and induce collagen reproduction, which smooths out the layers of the skin and reduces blemishes from scarring.
