Dr. Elshimy graduated from the University of Birmingham with Honours and two distinctions. She is a consultant dermatologist having completed her training in Leeds and the surrounding area. She has an interest in all aspects of dermatology as well as a sub-specialty interest in the use of laser devices to treat skin conditions. She is also a member of the British association of dermatologists Skin Diversity subcommittee and has previously been an honorary lecturer at the University of Leeds.
